The client is looking for a Programmer - Consultant - Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Developer

Scope of the project:
The Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Developer will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, and other technical teams to design, build, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform. The developer will be responsible for hands-on development, integration, automation, data modeling, troubleshooting, and solution optimization. This role requires deep knowledge of Dataverse tables, security, Power Apps (model-driven and canvas apps), Power Automate flows, and enterprise integration patterns. The position is highly hands-on and focused on delivering robust, scalable business applications.
POSITION: PROGRAMMER - CONSULTANT - Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Developer
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop and maintain enterprise Power Apps solutions (canvas and model-driven)
Build and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, APIs and security roles
Develop automated workflows using Power Automate
Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications and data sources including Azure services
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environment
Work closely with business partners to translate requirements into functional solutions
Implement best practices around solution architecture, governance, data modeling and secure-by-design development
Maintain documentation for configuration, data models, custom connectors, workflows and operational support
Assist in building monitoring, auditing, logging and compliance controls in alignment with enterprise policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
5+ years of Hands-on Power Apps Development (model-driven and canvas)
5+ years of experience developing solutions using Dataverse, including advanced data modeling and security architecture
Strong experience with Power Automate for building complex workflows and integrations
Experience creating and managing custom connectors, APIs and Integrations with Azure Services
Solid understanding of Power Platform environments, ALM, solution management, DevOps and Deployment pipelines
Proficiency with JavaScript, PowerFx, and low code extensibility patterns
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
Experience with Azure Functions, Logic apps, and Azure API Management
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE configuration and extended Dataverse Features
Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST, PCI, etc.)
Knowledge of Power BI for reporting integrations
Understanding of security architecture within Power Platform and Azure AD
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
College degree or equivalent experience
Must hold Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics Certification or 5+ years of equivalent experience
