Position Overview
Cabinet Assemblers construct custom architectural millwork, ensuring precision and quality. Responsibilities encompass reading blueprints, cutting and shaping wood, and assembling parts with appropriate tools.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assemble millwork by accurately placing screws and bolts in designated holes to ensure structural integrity, in a timely manner that meets the production schedule and quality requirements.
  • Execute tasks meticulously and precisely to contribute to the organization's future growth and maintain quality standards.
  • Pay attention to detail to identify any repair or replacement needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Fasten joints and subassemblies together using screws, nails, or other adhesives.
  • Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks onto cabinets.
  • Sand and finish cabinets to ensure a smooth, polished surface.
  • Inspect finished cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Clean and maintain tools and work area.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Must display a high degree of manual dexterity and have basic hand tool knowledge.
  • Must be able to read and use tape measure for precise measurements.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals.
