Genesee Senior Living Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team as a Nursing Supervisor.

In this role, you will oversee the daily nursing operations of our Assisted Living and Memory Care community, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while supporting and mentoring nursing staff.


This position in Monday-Friday with on call duties every other week.

LPN Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support direct care staff, including Med Techs and Resident Care Aides.

  • Monitor resident health status and ensure timely follow-up on changes in condition.

  • Ensure resident charts are established upon admission and maintained in compliance with Department of Health regulations.

  • Update and implement medication orders in accordance with physician directives.

  • Ensure laboratory requisitions are completed, processed, and followed up on appropriately.

  • Assist with physician and podiatry visits and coordinate follow-up care.

  • Conduct chart audits and monitor documentation for accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain accurate resident census records and communicate anticipated discharges to the Administrator.

  • Ensure new hires receive appropriate training and maintain training documentation.

  • Conduct staff interviews and assist with hiring decisions.

  • Maintain and update medical equipment inventory records.

  • Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned.

  • Promote a positive, resident-centered environment that supports dignity, independence, and quality of life.

LPN Supervisor Qualifications:
  • Current New York State LPN license in good standing.

  • Previous nursing supervisory experience in assisted living, long-term care, memory care, or a related healthcare setting preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of New York State Assisted Living regulations and documentation requirements.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
