Job description

Harvard Business Publishing (HBP) - the leading destination for innovative management thinking. We reach lifelong learners to improve the practice of management in a changing world. This mission inspires each of us to unlock the leader in everyone - including you!
The opportunity
Harvard Business Review (HBR) is the leading destination for smart management thinking. Through its flagship magazine, books, and digital content and tools published on HBR.org, Harvard Business Review aims to provide professionals around the world with rigorous insights and best practices to help lead themselves and their organizations more effectively and to make a positive impact.
Harvard Business Review (HBR) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support and execute integrated marketing initiatives across print, digital, podcasts, and events. This role plays a critical part in managing marketing operations, coordinating RFPs, supporting HBR Executive programs, and providing teleprompter support for webinars. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you'll do
Working closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, Editorial, Design, Product, and Executive Programs, you'll support a wide range of initiatives that drive audience engagement, brand visibility, and business growth. Key responsibilities include:
Print & Digital Marketing
  • Coordinate production schedules for print and digital campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of assets.
  • Manage creative trafficking and approvals for HBR's print and online advertising placements.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and prepare post-campaign reports with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Editorial, Design, Sales, Product) to ensure brand alignment.

RFP (Request for Proposal) Support
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and submitting marketing sections for RFPs.
  • Maintain an updated library of case studies, audience data, and marketing collateral for use in proposals.
  • Partner with sales teams to ensure RFP submissions align with client goals and HBR's value proposition.

Podcast Marketing
  • Coordinate promotion schedules and creative assets for HBR podcasts.
  • Track performance analytics and contribute to growth strategies for podcast listenership and sponsorship.
  • Collaborate with producers on audience engagement campaigns and cross-channel promotion.

HBR Executive Program Support
  • Partner with the HBR Executive team to execute targeted marketing campaigns for senior leadership audiences.
  • Assist with audience segmentation, email marketing, and performance tracking.
  • Support event deliverables and marketing needs related to HBR Executive programming.

Webinar & Event Teleprompter Support
  • Operate teleprompter software during live and recorded webinars, ensuring smooth delivery for hosts and speakers.
  • Provide pre-event coordination support, including briefing speakers, testing tech setups, and cueing scripts.
  • Assist in post-event follow-up, reporting, and audience engagement campaigns.

What you'll bring
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing coordination, preferably in media, publishing, or B2B environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social analytics).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with live event support and teleprompter tools (training provided if needed).
  • Demonstrated ability to execute multi-channel marketing initiatives with a high degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortability working across multiple marketing channels (print, digital, events, podcasts).
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and content management systems.

You'll stand out if you have
  • Experience in media, publishing, B2B marketing, or professional services environments.
  • Experience supporting webinars, virtual events, podcasts, or content marketing initiatives.
  • A data-informed approach to marketing and campaign optimization.
  • Curiosity about leadership, management, business, and professional development topics.
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools, technologies, and marketing channels.

What we offer
