Job description

Who are we hiring?

The Senior Intelligence Analyst is a mission-critical leadership role within the Threat Management Intelligence Department. Unlike the Security Intelligence Analyst position - which centers on task execution and skill development - the Senior Intelligence Analyst embodies mission ownership, operational leadership, and relentless pursuit of objectives. This individual partners directly with the Senior Director, Intelligence & Security Operations Center and the Manager, Security Intelligence to maintain situational awareness of potential and developing risks capable of impacting personnel and assets across Sphere.

The Senior Security Intelligence Analyst sets the operational tempo for the Intelligence team. When standard methods are exhausted, this role demands creative tradecraft, independent judgment, and persistence until the mission is accomplished or explicitly redirected. This position requires knowledge of intelligence community (IC) best practices, open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools and tradecraft, threat assessment methodologies, report writing, and the ability to operate decisively in ambiguity.

What will you do?

  • Conduct advanced open-source intelligence collection and analysis in support of threat identification, event security, and executive protection operations across all Madison Square Garden family of company venues (West and East Coast)
  • Produce and disseminate intelligence products including threat assessments, situational awareness reports, and executive briefings tailored to diverse audiences (security operations, executive leadership, external partners)
  • Serve as the intelligence lead during Tier 1 events, providing real-time analytical support and maintaining continuous communication with operations personnel
  • Mentor and develop Intelligence Analysts through formal and informal coaching, quality review of products, and modeling of analytical best practices
  • Learn and adapt to new processes, tasks, and leadership responsibilities from other Senior Security Intelligence Analysts, Manager Security Intelligence, and Sr. Director Intelligence and Security Operations Center
  • Identify and implement process improvements, technology enhancements, and tradecraft innovations that elevate the entire intelligence function
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners including law enforcement, federal agencies, and private sector intelligence organizations
  • Project Management and maintain intelligence platforms, databases, and case management tools; drive adoption and ensure data integrity
  • Lead after-action reviews and contribute to lessons-learned processes following significant events or incidents
  • Serve as acting Supervisor, Security Intelligence during periods of absence, including attendance at leadership meetings and oversight of daily operations
  • Expand threat reporting volume and audience reach through creative dissemination strategies and stakeholder engagement
  • Supervision
    • Manager, Security Intelligence
    • Sr. Director, Intelligence & Security Operations Center

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, National Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, or related field (government IC, law enforcement, or corporate security)
  • Demonstrated expertise in OSINT tools, methodologies, and tradecraft
  • Proven ability to produce clear, concise analytical written products under time pressure
  • Experience mentoring or leading peers in an analytical or operational environment
  • Strong understanding of physical security, executive protection, and event security concepts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances or law enforcement partnerships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

Special Requirements

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekend
