Senior Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary engineering authority for complex structural repair and retrofit initiatives.

We are seeking a highly experienced, SE Licensed Senior Structural Engineer to serve as the highest-level engineering authority within our organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing engineering operations, mentoring technical staff, stamping plans, and partnering closely with executive leadership, production, and field teams to drive successful project outcomes.If you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where engineering directly impacts construction execution, we want to hear from you.What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for complex structural repair and retrofit projects

  • Design, analyze, and stamp structural plans in compliance with the California Building Code and local jurisdiction requirements

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, drafters, and technical staff

  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure engineering quality and consistency

  • Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Executive teams to support project success

  • Participate in site visits, structural observations, and inspections as needed

  • Coordinate with local building departments and support permit approvals (including agencies such as LADBS)

  • Develop and improve internal engineering standards, systems, and best practices

  • Provide technical expertise during pre-construction and support complex project scoping

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Active California Structural Engineer (SE) License – Required

  • 15+ years of progressive structural engineering experience
