This position will involve development in cutting edge AWS Serverless technology running under full DevOps & Agile Methodology utilizing CI/CD Pipelines and Automated Testing.SummaryFocuses on developing business services, APIs, integrations, and application logic that enable scalable, reliable, and secure business solutions. Works closely with architects, database developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. While the primary focus of the role is backend development, experience with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript is beneficial and may be leveraged to support full-stack development initiatives when needed.Job ResponsibilitiesDesigns, develops, and maintains backend applications, services, and RESTful APIs.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Develops business logic and integration components that connect enterprise applications and third-party systems.Consumes and exposes APIs to enable data exchange between applications and platforms.Performs unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.Troubleshoots and resolves application, integration, and API-related issues.Participates in code reviews and follows established coding standards, security practices, and architectural guidelines.Creates and maintains technical documentation, including solution designs, API specifications, and integration diagrams.Works closely with database developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and solution architects throughout the software development lifecycle.Identifies opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability, scalability, and reliability.Provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers when required .Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience developing backend applications, services, and integrations.Required Technical QualificationsStrong proficiency in C# backend programming languageExperience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.Experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, or event-driven architectures.Advanced AWS Orchestration & Serverless Backend: Deep expertise in backend development utilizing AWS serverless architectures, with specific experience building API Gateway streaming endpoints, Lambda functions, and orchestrating complex multi-agent workflows using AWS Bedrock and Amazon Q.Containerization & Serverless Compute: Proven experience containerizing full-stack applications using Docker and deploying them via AWS ECS Fargate for highly available , auto-scaling, and serverless container execution.Modern Identity & Access Management (SAML to OAuth): Strong implementation skills in application security, including maintaining legacy Okta-SAML integrations and certificates, while possessing deep expertise in architecting new applications with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC as the default authorization framework.Modern Full-Stack Development & AI Tooling: Proven track record in rapid, full-stack application development using modern frameworks, coupled with the ability to leverage next-gen AI coding companions and software engineering agents to accelerate delivery pipelines.End-to-End Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ): Solid experience treating infrastructure as software, using tools like AWS CDK or Cloudformation Template to build, deploy, and scale reproducible cloud environments and data-intensive pipelines.Understanding software architecture patterns, microservices, and distributed systems concepts.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps source control systems.Experience with SQL development, query optimization, stored procedures, and relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.Experience developing APIs and backend services using Node.js.Experience integrating enterprise systems and external platforms through REST APIs.Familiarity with message-based integration patterns and event-driven architectures.Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Kiro, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to accelerate software development, improve code quality, automate routine tasks, generate documentation, and enhance developer productivity.Preferred Technical QualificationsExperience with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and the ability to contribute to full-stack development efforts when needed.Understanding front-end and back-end integration patterns and experience supporting web-based application architectures.Soft Skill QualificationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines .BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address;
