Senior Next.js Tech Lead / Solution Architect (Next.js App Router)

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Next.js Tech Lead / Solution Architect with proven expertise in Next.js App Router to lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-scale web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade Next.js applications using the latest App Router architecture while driving performance, scalability, and best engineering practices.

This role will work closely with React developers, backend engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, enterprise-grade web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and development of enterprise applications using Next.js App Router.
  • Design scalable application architecture leveraging Server Components, Server Actions, and modern Next.js capabilities.
  • Define rendering strategies including:
    • Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
    • Static Site Generation (SSG)
    • Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)
  • Build and optimize application routing using the Next.js App Router architecture.
  • Implement advanced caching strategies, revalidation, and performance optimization.
  • Configure middleware, route handlers, and API integrations.
  • Optimize application performance to achieve excellent Core Web Vitals and Google Lighthouse scores.
  • Work with GraphQL and REST APIs to integrate backend services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
  • Mentor frontend developers and establish coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
