Functioning under the direction of the Application Manager, the Epic Cogito Business Intelligence Developer Senior Analyst provides advanced system-level support of multi-user clinical or financial applications, operating systems, hardware, software, and reporting tools, including installation, configuration, training, maintenance, and end user support of complex systems. Requires advanced knowledge of systems analysis. In-depth knowledge of project management concepts and methodology.

This Senior Analyst will provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team of analysts, able to support the Application Manager in growing a strong team.

  • The Role:

    Work Arrangement: This role, although mostly remote, may require onsite support within Hospitals, Clinics or Business centers that align with project implementation timelines.

    Your Mission:

    In this position, you will promote excellent customer service and strong communication skills to ensure the success of all software applications. You will partner with outside departments to promote, educate and train on current applications. You will work closely with members of the Xtensys staff, customer clinical and operational departments, and other Xtensys personnel to accomplish the goals established for the project.

    You will lead and participate in project planning sessions, and establish project goals, milestones, and procedures. You have the strong ability to manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity and collaborate with project leaders on all aspects of project planning to meet project deadlines.

  • Demonstrated experience using Epic’s Reporting Workbench extract framework and Batch Scheduler
  • Experience in at least 1 Epic implementation preferred
  • Strong understanding of BI reporting best practices
  • Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Current and active Epic certifications are REQUIRED in Cogito, Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model, Clinical and/or Revenue Data Model
  • Travel Requirements:
  • This position requires up to 25% travel to align with project milestone and Xtensys needs.
  • Physical Readiness:
  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, walking and standing are required only occasionally.
