The Senior Estimator assists the preconstruction team through the development of cost estimates, value management, and estimate proposal reports. The position requires the knowledge and expertise to quantify, price and qualify all building systems and components to create detailed cost estimates. This position solicits subcontractor pricing or bids and is able to prepare scopes of work for all trade contractors. The Senior Estimator must be able to meet critical deadlines and have the ability to work as part of a team.
Senior Estimator Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience working with either a GC or Trade Partner in an estimating role
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software solutions
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Value Management processes
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
  • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree; or 8 years equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
