Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Project Manager position in Oak Ridge, TN
Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager leads $500M+ industrial construction projects from conceptual engineering and front-end design through construction, commissioning, and final completion. This role requires deep technical fluency, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to coordinate large, multidisciplinary teams in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of project execution strategy, project reporting and coordination of activities associated with multiple projects simultaneously within a matrixed organization.
  • Lead the technical design and construction team to achieve project milestones and technical deliverables.
  • Execute contracts, internal work authorizations, and subcontracts to advance the project schedule needs.
  • Work closely with assigned resources to establish project controls, schedules, resource plans and budgets.
  • Manage an integrated project baseline for cost and schedule performance utilizing standard Earned Value techniques.
  • Collaborate with project and technical leads to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget.
  • Develop and manage project forecasts and forecast updates for bookings, revenue, and gross margin.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Must have experience managing industry multi-million dollar construction projects in excess of $500 million from conceptual design through completion.
  • Must be able to practice clear, concise, and results oriented communication to convey and coordinate technical exchanges internally and externally.
  • Must possess demonstrable ability to analyze, condense, and write technical and commercial language presentations for customers and diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating project schedules, resource loading, managing project budgets, developing project cost/revenue forecasts, and creating and maintaining project baselines.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Agile project management practices and leading Agile Sprint teams is desired
  • Prior supervisory and mentor experience is desired.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science or technical discipline
• PMP Certification
