What You'll Do
Creative Asset Development
  • Design and produce creative assets for social media, site content, email sends, and other owned and paid channels, from concept through final files

  • Adapt and resize assets for multiple platforms and formats while maintaining consistency
  • Create responsive layouts and visual systems for Rumpl.com and digital platforms in Figma
  • Ensure designs adhere to best practices for web, email, and accessibility while optimizing for performance and load times

  • Participate in ideation during creative brainstorms, mood boards, and storyboarding sessions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Ecommerce, Product, and Sales to ensure creative solutions meet business objectives, fielding and clarifying briefs directly
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently and help evolve them thoughtfully when necessary

Content Production & Support
  • Manage production design tasks including prepping final files, exporting assets, and managing delivery, with ownership of your own queue
  • Maintain and evolve digital design systems, templates, and libraries
  • Support content shoots and external creator collaboration, including on-set direction when needed

Creative Innovation & Exploration
  • Bring fresh thinking, new techniques, and emerging trends into Rumpl's creative output
  • Explore new approaches in typography, motion, color, and digital storytelling
  • Support competitive audits and mood board development for seasonal inspiration

What You'll Bring
Competencies
  • Design Craft & Execution: expert eye for typography, color, composition, and layout, backed by a track record of shipped work
  • Operational Excellence: combines creative problem-solving with meticulous organization and proactive task management, with minimal need for oversight
  • Digital Fluency: designs for responsive environments and multi-platform storytelling
  • Collaboration & Communication: works cross-functionally with clarity, accountability, and a solutions-oriented mindset, comfortable fielding ambiguous requests directly
  • Brand Stewardship: upholds and strengthens Rumpl's brand identity through every execution, and can flag when something is off-brand
  • Creative Curiosity: brings fresh ideas, inspiration, and innovation to the work
  • Attention to Detail: maintains a high standard of quality and precision in all deliverables

Skills & General Experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required
  • Proficiency in Figma and responsive design required
  • Strong command of typography, layout, composition, and digital best practices
  • Proven experience preparing final files and running creative production workflows independently
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality design on time and on brief with minimal direction
  • Proven success owning projects cross-functionally and translating ambiguous or incomplete briefs into strong creative
  • Motion or video design skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro) a plus
  • Experience with PDP Photoshop templates a plus
  • Familiarity with email marketing and dark mode / light mode design a plus

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Portfolio showing strong creative problem-solving, range, and storytelling across digital platforms
  • Passion for outdoor lifestyle, sustainability, and design innovation
