Systems Engineer II/III - Weapons Systems

Location: Moorestown, NJ
Work Schedule: Primarily onsite (hybrid schedule available based on team needs)
Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required

Position Overview

We are seeking Systems Engineers to support advanced weapons systems development within a multidisciplinary engineering organization focused on next-generation defense capabilities. This role supports the full systems engineering lifecycle, including modeling & simulation, design analysis, digital engineering, requirements development, and system modernization efforts across complex mission systems.

The ideal candidate is a "T-shaped" engineer with a strong engineering foundation and the ability to work across systems engineering, software-enabled analysis, and digital engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Support the full systems engineering lifecycle from concept through verification.
  • Develop and maintain system requirements using DOORS and Jazz.
  • Perform systems modeling using Cameo and SysML.
  • Support modeling, simulation, and engineering analysis activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance engineering analysis tools and utilities.
  • Write and modify analysis scripts using Python, C++, Java, and MATLAB.
  • Participate in system architecture development, trade studies, and design analysis.
  • Support algorithm development and evaluation activities.
  • Collaborate within Agile engineering teams across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Support future capability development through modeling, simulation, and requirements definition.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following:
    • Systems Engineering
    • Aerospace Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Related STEM discipline
  • Approximately 2-10 years of relevant experience (Level II-III)
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Experience with Systems Engineering principles and processes
  • Experience with MBSE methodologies
  • Experience using Cameo and SysML
  • Experience with DOORS and/or Jazz
  • Experience with Modeling & Simulation
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Experience using Python, C++, or Java for engineering analysis or tool development
  • Familiarity with Agile development environments
