The Opportunity with McKinstry

McKinstry is looking to add a Senior Enterprise Project Risk Manager to our growing team in Seattle, WA. The purpose of this role is to establish and scale an enterprise risk management approach that enables McKinstry to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risk across McKinstry divisions and be a liaison across Corporate Service Units. This position serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and project teams, embedding risk management into daily operations to ensure enterprise-wide accountability. Ultimately, the role drives improved visibility, consistency, and predictability in project and business outcomes. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Management (ERM) framework for Project Level risk (Tier III Risk).

  • Develop scalable processes to identify, assess, and monitor project risks across McKinstry divisions.

  • Establish standardized risk language, categories, and scoring methodologies.

  • Build foundational tools (checklists, dashboards, workflows) that enable consistent risk evaluation, includes evaluation and implementation of Risk Management Software.

  • Act as a trusted thought partner to leaders in McKinstry Divisions.

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment on risk ownership and mitigation strategies.

  • Integrate Change Management best practices into Program launch and ongoing improvements, including developing communications, resources, policies, etc

  • Conduct high-risk project review meetings.

  • Continue to iterate, build and maintain program, responding to changes to business needs and external environment.

The pay range for this position is $123,570 - $214,100 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
