Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team at our Trenton, SC facility. This is a permanent, onsite position where you will lead diverse engineering projects while working independently with limited supervision. You will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, facility optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across our production operations. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineering staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to strategic facility planning and design projects.

Must-Haves
  • Minimum of 5 years of related industrial engineering experience, OR 3 years of experience with a master's degree, OR a PhD with equivalent professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or master's/PhD as noted above)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience conducting time studies, cost analysis, and process optimization
  • Proficiency in facility planning and design concepts
Primary Functions
  • Lead and manage engineering projects of varying complexity while maintaining accountability for deliverables and timelines
  • Mentor and review the work of junior-level engineers and technical staff to ensure quality and professional development
  • Identify, evaluate, and support continuous improvement and automation opportunities throughout the facility
  • Develop and implement methods to maximize production capacity and personnel utilization
  • Conduct comprehensive studies in cost analysis, inventory management, production control, and human factors engineering
  • Develop detailed plans and recommendations for facility modifications, equipment upgrades, and operational process improvements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and facilities engineers on long-term facility planning and capital projects
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and stakeholder relationships with internal teams and external partners through strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility objectives
