MRB Design Engineer - VILocation: Wichita, KS On-site (Office-Based Role)
Pay Rate: $90.00+/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 (after 90 days of successful employment)
Retention Bonus: $5,000 after 12 months of employment
Expleo Group USA is seeking a Senior Consultant-level MRB Design Engineer (Level 6) to provideindustry-leading technical expertise, innovation, and strategic engineering leadership across aerospace manufacturing programs.
This is an office-based role centered on advanced MRB engineering evaluation, where you will apply cutting-edge engineering principles, independent judgment, and deep technical knowledge to solve the most complex and critical nonconformance challenges.
This position is suited to a recognized industry expert who influences technology direction, organisational strategy, and long-term engineering capability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead resolution of highly complex, unprecedented MRB nonconformances requiring advanced and innovative solutions
  • Develop and implement new engineering concepts, repair methodologies, and technical standards
  • Apply advanced scientific principles and engineering theory to improve aircraft structural repair solutions
  • Define and drive long-term technical strategies and engineering capability development
  • Act independently to identify and resolve systemic engineering and program-level challenges
  • Serve as primary technical spokesperson with customers, regulatory bodies, and senior leadership
  • Advise executive leadership on technology strategy, risk, and future engineering direction
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-organisational technical initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (ABET-accredited preferred)
  • 20+ years of aerospace/MRB engineering experience
  • Recognized industry expert in MRB, structural engineering, and airworthiness
  • Extensive experience supporting major OEM programs (e.g., Boeing 737/787 or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop advanced engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies
  • Deep knowledge of metallic and composite structures
  • Advanced expertise in regulatory frameworks, certification, and compliance (ITAR/EAR awareness)
  • Proven track record of influencing technical strategy, innovation, and organisational direction
Work Schedules
Multiple schedules available:
  • Day, night, and weekend shifts (aligned to programme needs)
