Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider offering customized supply chain solutions across North America. Through experienced leadership, proven operational processes, and advanced technology, LINC delivers warehousing, transportation, inventory management, sequencing, and value-added logistics services for some of the world's largest manufacturers.

This position is based in Lake Orion, Michigan, supporting General Motors operations. The facility provides warehouse services including pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and material flow support for critical production operations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all warehouse, inventory, and material flow operations within the facility
  • Ensure material availability to meet customer production requirements
  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, and process compliance
  • Lead warehouse supervisors and hourly associates to achieve operational objectives
  • Monitor KPIs related to inventory, productivity, quality, safety, and customer service
  • Develop and implement process improvements focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational performance
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound material movement to support customer schedules
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and safety standards
  • Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage labor planning, staffing levels, and workforce development
  • Conduct employee coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning
  • Partner with customer representatives to resolve operational issues and maintain strong relationships
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior leadership
  • Support budget management, cost controls, and financial performance objectives
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain operations
  • Previous experience managing inventory, materials, logistics, or warehouse operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and material flow processes
  • Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service
