ย This is a salaried non-exempt position.


Job Summary

Responsible for job material planning, scheduling, follow-up and communication with sales representatives.

Responsible for maintaining various purchasing and equipment files and documentation, track direct ship components for receiving, follow up on open purchase orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review unit drawing bill of material to determine material requirements, issue requisition for special needs and reserve material in ERP system.

Review orders, generate sub jobs and release jobs in the ERP system.

Maintain communication with sales offices to expedite unit releases.

Generate barcode listing for employee clocking purposes and workload issued monthly.

Manage inventory of stock material and customer supplied material.

Follow-up on direct ship material to obtain delivery information and expedite orders as necessary.ย 

Review each Job Order to understand all material requirements.

Manage all cycle counts of inventory within the facility.ย 

Relieve consumed material from the ERP system.

Requisition stock material daily.

Maintain the Approval Status Schedule.

Maintain a rolling 3 month schedule.

Maintain short shipment log.

Maintain the ERP system with updated information.

Assist in other duties as needed and directed.

Requirements

ย  High School Diploma

2 to 5 years of Inventory Control and/or Material Planning

Ability to work independently and communicate well with others.

Strong work ethic and team player.

Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.

Ability to interact with employees, vendors and customers in a professional manner.

Effective Analytical and problem solving skills.
