Familiarity with tools such as trowels, mixers, plumb lines, and sometimes blueprint reading software is common, and OSHA safety certifications are highly valued. Strong attention to detail, leadership abilities, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for managing teams and ensuring high-quality workmanship. These skills and qualities are essential for delivering durable, precise structures and leading crews safely and efficiently on construction projects.

What are some common challenges faced by senior masons on construction sites, and how can these be effectively managed?
