Job description

Purpose:

This position will be responsible for assisting with the creation and completion of the budget, forecast and long-term strategic plan models. Creating executive summaries for Senior Management and the Board of Directors. Implementing and maintaining operating reports and providing analysis to support company strategic initiatives. This role will help drive effective decision-making by using analyses such as ROI, proformas and Industry Indicators.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Exempt level experience involving various financial planning and analysis duties
  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with preparation and completion of budget/forecast models
  • Analyze actual performance to budget/forecast and monitor trends of key performance indicators
  • Implement and work with Business Intelligence tools and dashboarding
  • Improve upon current processes to drive efficiencies
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Supporting Senior Management and Departments with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations for Board of Directors and Senior Management
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis and special projects
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports

Working Conditions (travel,   environment)

  • Occasional travel may be required including air and/or car travel
