Job Description:

Candidate will perform Construction Project Management as well asplan, design and oversee the reconfiguration, construction and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions and guidelines,ย requiredย completion schedule, and execution feasibility. Utilizesย AutoCadย software to developย concept andย construction documents for a wide range of Facility projects. Coordinates with architecture and engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets, project justification, statement of work documents and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Responsible forย managing toย approvedย budgets and approving contracts and purchases.ย Overseesย the construction and installation to ensure conformance toย establishedย drawings, specifications,ย costย and schedule.ย 

Essential Functions:

  • Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area.
  • Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
  • Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
  • Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.
  • Work consists of making basic adjustments to systems and processes to solve problems.
  • Identifies, defines and addresses general problems that are typically within the immediate job area.
  • Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineer experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related facilities engineer experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related facilities engineer experience.
