Job description

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position.

This is an Indefinite with Right to Convert to Permanent GS-2185-09 AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2300000 is part of the MO 139th Airlift Wing.

Qualifications:MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - MSgt (E-7)
Minimum Military Grade - TSgt (E-6)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience in functions such as preparing aircraft loading plans, loading and off-loading aircraft, operating loading equipment, and ensuring security of cargo in flight.
GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 24 months of specialized experience which has provided you with knowledge of types, capacities and configuration of transport aircraft; weight and balance factors; cargo handling and restraint techniques; and emergency equipment and in-flight emergency procedures. The specialized experience must demonstrate your ability to prepare loading plans; determine airworthiness of the aircraft and aircraft cargo; ability to operate cargo loading equipment; experience in proper cargo and personnel airdrop procedures; and ability to train personnel in proper loading and off-loading procedures.
Must possess certification as an Aircraft Loadmaster Instructor.Education:This job does not have a qualification requirement that allows substitution of education for specialized experience.Employment Type: OTHER
