Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Linux Systems Engineer joining our team to support our customer in Springfield, VA and help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.
HOW A LINUX SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Contribute to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
  • Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
  • Oversee complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Perform complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
  • Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology

Position Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
EDUCATION: BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of related experience
CLEARANCE: Active TS / SCI Clearance and eligibility to obtain a Poly.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Linux systems administration
DESIRED SKILLS:
A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:
