JOB DESCRIPTION:
Middleware Engineer / System Engineer
Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef and/or AutoSys
? Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of how firewall rules work)
? Experience with Glassbox especially, but other monitoring tools such as Tealeaf, Splunk, SiteScope, etc.
? Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience
? Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience
? Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
? Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues
? Strong debugging and analytical skills
? Strong network troubleshooting skills using various tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl)
? Good communication skills with ability to coordinate work between system admins, network engineers, end users and others to deliver solutions together
? Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions
? Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision
? Working knowledge of regular expressions
