This position manages day-to-day system operations and provides technical support across client/server environments, storage systems, network devices, and other enterprise technology.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems.Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.Identify, diagnose, and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues.Support servers, storage systems, network components, and end-user devices.Install and upgrade operating systems, software, patches, and system enhancements.Troubleshoot hardware, software, system, and network-related problems.Maintain system integrity, security, and operational readiness.Escalate issues and communicate resolution status to management and internal customers.Coordinate the dispatch and resolution of system and hardware problems.Recommend and implement improvements that enhance system reliability and performance.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.Fifteen years of System Administration experience supporting programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Five additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree, for a total of 20 years without a degree.Strong experience administering Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills across enterprise IT systems.Certification meeting or exceeding CWIP IAT Level II requirements.Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full-Scope Polygraph.______________________________________________________________________Upon request the salary range for this job will be made available.
