This is an individual contributor role responsible for solving complex 
problems and taking a broad perspective to identify creative solutions. This role serves as a technical and functional specialist and works independently in complex situations. Inherit all physical and virtualized Linux servers, VPN management, have AWS experience to help with future migration, a background in monitoring and alerting systems,

Qualifications
  • Linux administration to include patching, performance tuning, networking (OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, iptables), user management, storage, and security
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  • Strong experience with spinning up and administering Virtualized servers
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, backup systems, and hardware maintenance
  • Managing/configuring DNS, DHCP, VPN's
  • Experience with shell scripting
  • Knowledge of source control systems like Git
  • Experience in working within a continuous integration environment
  • Ability to document current network environment and future technical solutions
