Job description

Compensation includes salary base (45K to 49K) PLUS a bonus earned and paid monthly.
Hours for this position are 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
What will you be doing?
As a first level Logistics Coordinator, you will focus on the carrier service aspect of the business and source transportation solutions for our customer’s shipments. Customers consist of companies that have freight to move, and we provide the transportation solutions with our carrier partners. Our current customers range in industry, including but not limited to, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, Liquid and dry chemicals, construction, durable goods, retail etc. You will use our transportation management software, Revenova, and your growing industry knowledge, to source carriers, quote rates, and offer solutions to successfully bring customer shipments to delivery. With our extensive training, you will quickly become comfortable with the technology used, the transportation industry, how to negotiate, and how to execute customer transportation solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing the highest quality of service
  • Ensure shipment details are accurately entered into the transportation management software
  • Communicate with carriers to successfully accomplish the pickup and delivery appointments
  • Proactively identify issues and resolve problems to uphold our commitment to service
  • Prioritize and respond to internal and external requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business development sales representatives, customer account management, customer operations representatives, and other logistics coordinators.
