Senior Lab Technologists are experienced laboratory professionals who oversee and perform complex tests in medical or research laboratories. They ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results, supervise junior staff, maintain quality control, and troubleshoot technical problems with equipment or procedures. Their role is vital in diagnosing diseases, supporting scientific research, and upholding laboratory safety and compliance standards.

How does a senior lab technologist typically collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the laboratory and the wider medical team?

As a Senior Lab Technologist, you will regularly collaborate with fellow technologists, laboratory technicians, and pathologists to ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens.
