Job description

Job Summary:
Saviance is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their platform infrastructure. The role requires expertise in infrastructure provisioning, automation, and a strong background in cloud-scale architectures and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
Responsibilities:
• You will join our team as a Senior DevOps Engineer helping fill gaps in the extant platform infrastructure.
• You will bring a depth of experience and proven ability with you in order to supply infrastructure provisioning and automation requirements.
• In order to be successful in this role, you must have working knowledge of continuous integration models and exhibit a willingness to take on any task or project.
Qualifications:
Required:
• An intellectual curiosity and innovative thinking
• A passion for problem-solving
• A deep understanding of cloud-scale and micro/macro-services architectures
• Experience in operating high-performance, highly-scalable, and fault-tolerant multi-tenant SaaS-based applications
• An ability to work independently or immersed within teams with no boundaries
• 5+ years' DevOps experience in a production environment
• 3+ years' AWS experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based solutions
• Experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ideally migrating from AWS to GCP
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and JIRA
• A proficiency working with common storage and messaging technologies, such as MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and ElasticSearch
• Bachelors required
Preferred:
• Master's degree preferred
• Proficiency with Linux administration/engineering
• Experience working with configuration management systems and deployment automation
• Excellent business communication skills
