We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Seismic LiveDocs Senior Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain advanced LiveDocs solutions within our Seismic platform. This role requires deep expertise in Seismic's LiveDocs capabilities, including advanced logic, data integrations, and template design, to create highly automated, scalable, and personalized content generation. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving significant improvements in content velocity, accuracy, and sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Design & Architecture:
o Lead the design and architectural planning of complex LiveDocs templates and solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance.
o Translate complex business requirements (e.g., pricing matrices, legal clauses, product configurations, dynamic narratives) into robust and efficient LiveDocs logic and data structures.
o Define best practices, coding standards, and governance policies for LiveDocs development and deployment.
• LiveDocs Development & Implementation:
o Develop, configure, and optimize advanced LiveDocs templates using Seismic's proprietary syntax, scripting, and data binding capabilities.
o Implement intricate conditional logic, loops, calculations, and data transformations within LiveDocs to generate personalized and compliant content at scale.
o Integrate LiveDocs solutions with various data sources (e.g., CRM, CPQ, ERP, internal databases) using Seismic's integration capabilities (e.g., Data Connectors, APIs, Salesforce integration).
o Manage version control, testing, and deployment of LiveDocs templates across different environments.
• Integrations:
o Connect Seismic with external systems (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake) via APIs for data synchronization
• Optimization & Performance:
o Identify opportunities to enhance existing LiveDocs templates for efficiency, performance, and user experience.
o Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to LiveDocs generation, data integration, and user-facing errors.
o Conduct performance tuning and optimization of LiveDocs templates to ensure rapid content generation.
• Collaboration & Training:
o Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, and IT teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
o Mentor junior developers or content creators on LiveDocs best practices, advanced features, and troubleshooting techniques.
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for LiveDocs solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Strategic Input:
o Stay abreast of the latest Seismic platform features, LiveDocs advancements, and industry best practices.
o Provide strategic recommendations for leveraging Seismic's full capabilities to improve sales enablement and content automation.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience:
o 5+ years of hands-on experience as a senior developer specifically working with Seismic LiveDocs.
o Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying complex, enterprise-level LiveDocs solutions.
o Experience with advanced LiveDocs features, including complex logic, nested loops, dynamic tables, and conditional formatting.
o Strong experience integrating Seismic with CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, SAP CPQ).
o Experience with data modeling and working with various data sources (SQL, APIs, flat files, etc.).
• Technical Skills:
o Deep expertise in Seismic LiveDocs syntax and functionality.
o Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation techniques.
o Familiarity with API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data connectors.
o Experience with Salesforce (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL) is highly desirable, especially for Salesforce-integrated environments.
o Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) is a plus.
