On-site 4 days onsite in Boston, MA
Our client seeks a Senior Java Developer to build a new cloud-based application. The consultant will design and develop services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices on AWS. The role requires strong understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $65.00 to $72.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud-native services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Implement microservices on AWS with attention to reliability and scalability.
  • Develop integrations and web services using SOAP and REST.
  • Build data access layers using ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or MyBatis.
  • Contribute to UI interactions leveraging jQuery as needed.
  • Apply design patterns and object-oriented principles.
  • Optimize applications for performance, security, and maintainability.

Experience Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Java/J2EE with strong object-oriented design and design patterns.
  • Hands-on Spring 3.x and Spring Boot with microservices.
  • Strong AWS experience.
