Job description

Job Summary:
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. They are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join their talented team as a Senior Java Developer, focusing on enhancing microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, as well as supporting AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Enhance microservices, REST API's, lambda's using Java/spring boot.
• Responsible for development, writing automated unit test cases, participating in end to end integration testing, performance testing and maintenance of services.
• Develop and support complex AWS infrastructure delivering applications.
• Help to ensure a well-managed posture across the bank, identifying and resolving application vulnerabilities, delivering on Enterprise Tech Backlog.
• Provide support across the team and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Work closely within the team to help storyboard features.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Excellent coding skills in Java with knowledge on Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with backend microservice, REST API, lambda development.
• Strong understanding and application of AWS services (i.e. ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience with CI/CD Jenkins.
• Experience with Monitoring tools like Splunk/New Relic.
• Experience with Docker containerized applications.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency.
• Demonstrated problem solving for complex issues.
Preferred:
• Experience with managed bank’s Pipeline a plus.
