  • Evaluate technical and business decisions with a clear understanding of risk, ensuring all solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and data governance requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in software or application development, with a strong focus on big data engineering, systems analysis, or distributed systems.
  • Core Language Expertise: Deep expertise in Java development, with demonstrable experience building large-scale, production-grade data applications.
  • Streaming & Messaging: Practical, hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink(or Apache Spark Streaming) for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Strong hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes (K8s) and enterprise container platforms such as ECS (Enterprise Container Solution) or Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Infrastructure & Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of container orchestration concepts, including pod lifecycles, service networking, volume mounts, and resource allocation.
  • Project Delivery: Proven ability to lead and deliver complex technical projects from design through to production deployment.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience mentoring developers and coordinating technical delivery across teams.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
