SofTec Solutions is looking for a seasoned developer to join a stellar team working on UI Development. While this is an individual contributor role, you'll be involved in many aspects- helping evolve our existing architecture, working with teams to improve operations, and implementing new features and functionality.
The job involves the following responsibilities:
• Creating and developing highly interactive user interfaces utilizing client side technologies
• 80% of your time will be spent using JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, JQuery
• 20% Java/JSP
• Must be systematic in your approach to problem solving and be detail oriented
• Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution
• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule

• 3+ years of recent hands-on JavaScript experience
• 3+ years of web application development experience
• 2+ years experience with HTML5/CSS3
• 1+ year experience working with Java/JSP
• Bachelor's degree or an intriguing reason for not having one
Nice to Have:
• Must be a flawless executor, not a procrastinator
• Basic OOP and software design knowledge
• Experience with XML, JSON, SPA, RWD, Spring and agile development process will take you a long way on this interstellar adventure
