Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of project development for transportation-related projects, including deliverables, project schedules, and budgets.
  • Independently coordinate the work of engineers and balance the project delivery team throughout the entire project's development.
  • Establish client relations and be involved with marketing and proposal development, contractual matters, design, and internal and external meetings.
  • Serve in the role of Office Leader, overseeing daily operations/functions of the office.
  • Engage with industry organizations in MA
  • Proficiency and experience utilizing software applications (e.g., Civil 3D, etc.) with minimal to no guidance.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • PE licensure in MA
  • Experience with MassDOT
  • Experience with Massachusetts municipalities
  • A sound knowledge of AASHTO and state DOT Standard Specifications
  • Quality control, quality assurance, and project management experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and good work ethic with a desire to work in a collaborative environment
