Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Calypso Java Developer to join a financial technology team. This individual will play a critical role in designing, customizing, integrating, and supporting Calypso trading and risk management platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep financial services expertise, particularly within FX and derivatives markets, with advanced Java development, API integration, cloud engineering, and DevSecOps capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, customize, integrate, and support Calypso trading and risk management platforms.
• Configure and customize Calypso modules across multiple asset classes.
• Develop and maintain Calypso solutions using Calypso APIs and Java.
• Develop scalable integration solutions and REST APIs using microservices architectures.
• Integrate Calypso with market utilities and internal banking systems.
• Support enterprise applications utilizing Java, JBoss, MQ, and ETL technologies.
• Manage AWS cloud deployments and contribute to cloud-native application development.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevSecOps practices.
• Design and optimize databases, SQL queries, and data models supporting Calypso applications.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver solutions for front-, middle-, and back-office financial systems.
• Support and troubleshoot production applications and integrations.
• Contribute to application architecture, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on Calypso development experience utilizing Calypso APIs.
