Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 9+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices, with experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.

Required Skills
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
  • Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM, and Memory Management.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
  • Strong experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating SOAP/REST web services.
  • Strong SQL experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
  • Messaging technologies: Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, ActiveMQ.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized deployments.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, OOP, and Data Structures & Algorithms.
  • Experience with JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
  • Build scalable Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
  • Develop secure, high-performance backend services and distributed systems.
  • Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
  • Develop unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
  • Ensure application security, compliance, and best development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux).
  • Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.
  • Experience with Apache Camel or integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and Identity & Access Management.
  • Knowledge of ELK Stack, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana for monitoring.
  • Exposure to Kafka Streams and real-time data processing.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) are a plus.
Nice to Have
  • Financial Services, Banking, Healthcare, or Retail domain experience.
  • Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Exposure to AI/ML integrations and Generative AI APIs.
  • Experience with Redis caching and Elasticsearch.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes Operators and Service Mesh (Istio).
