Experience:
  • 7+ years of software development experience, with significant experience in backend or distributed systems development

Technical Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented design
  • Experience designing and building cloud-native applications
  • Practical experience with AWS services and architecture
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as SQS, SNS, Kafka, or EventBridge
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience with microservices or distributed service-oriented systems
  • Experience with Docker and container-based development
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to define detailed design and translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Familiarity with security best practices, IAM, encryption, and secrets management
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
