Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a Senior Java/J2EE Developer to join their dynamic team in McLean, VA. The role involves defining technical solutions for complex business issues and providing technical guidance to project teams while developing microservices-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Single Family Architecture to define technical solutions for complex business issues
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and lead design/code reviews
• Develop microservices-based solutions using Java/JEE, Spring Framework, Docker, OpenShift, and AWS/EKS platforms
Qualifications:
Required:
• Candidates must have local to McLean VA in order to apply.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a Senior Java Developer
• Strong experience with Spring Boot
• Exposure to front-end technologies, preferably Angular
• Experience with automation testing (Cypress, Playwright, or Cucumber)
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities
• Prior work experience at Mortgage or in the financial services industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred:
• DevOps and Microservices experience
• Experience with build/deployment tools such as Maven, Gradle, ANT, Shell scripting, Jenkins, and EKS
• Mortgage and/or financial services industry experience
