Job description

Senior Java Developer - W2 Role

Locations: Alpharetta, GA & New York, NY (Local Candidates Only)
Role: Java Developer
Experience: 10+ Years
 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, RESTful APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, and IBM MQ Series. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in server-side development, building scalable enterprise applications, and working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance backend applications using Core Java and Spring frameworks.

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise systems.

  • Work with IBM WebSphere MQ Series for messaging and system integration.

  • Develop server-side applications using J2EE technologies.

  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, RESTful APIs, Gradle, Spring, and Spring Boot.

  • Strong experience with IBM WebSphere MQ Series and related frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development.

  • Experience building server-side applications using J2EE technologies.

  • Experience with database technologies (preferably DB2) including modeling and performance tuning.

  • Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
