Job Description:
This position is for a Senior Java Developer. The candidate must have a strong Java developer background of at least 10+ years. The role requires involvement of all aspects of application development, including interfacing with other Teach Leads to deliver on Business Requirements. The candidate must have Capital Markets Trading Technology experience of working directly on trading projects either on the Wealth Management or Investment banking capital markets business domain. The candidate should also have an ability to lead other developers in the team. Having effective communication skills is very important. The candidate should have an aptitude to understand complex business processes and be able interpret business requirements and produce functional/technical specifications as well as the ability to create software solutions across multi-tier environments.
Required qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Java working on midsize to large software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of the Spring Framework required
  • Ability to understand customer business needs
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, Self-starter, Strong interpersonal and follow through skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring unfocused issues to resolution.
  • Knowledgeable in Agile and hybrid/waterfall software development practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
