Finance Leadership Opportunity in Craft Beverage & Hospitality

Barrel One Collective (B1C) is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Controller to join our growing finance leadership team. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on accounting and finance professional who thrives in fast-paced operational environments and wants to help shape the future of an evolving craft beverage, hospitality, and manufacturing organization. The Senior Controller will partner closely with executive leadership and operational teams across brewery, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, and distribution operations to ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, operational visibility, and long-term financial health.

What You'll DoFinancial Leadership & Reporting
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Analyze financial performance, including budget-to-actual reporting and operational variance analysis

  • Support leadership decision-making through accurate financial insights and reporting

  • Assist in long-range planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management

  • Oversee company liquidity reporting and banking relationships

Operational & Strategic Partnership
  • Partner with department leaders across hospitality, manufacturing, retail, and operations

  • Help identify operational efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements

  • Develop and monitor departmental budgets and financial performance metrics

  • Support strategic growth initiatives, capital projects, and operational planning

Accounting & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls

  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax partners, banking institutions, and insurance providers

  • Oversee tax planning support, audit preparation, and employee benefit audit coordination

  • Ensure compliance with insurance coverage requirements including liability, workers compensation, and cyber security policies

  • Review contracts and agreements from a financial and risk-management perspective

ERP & Systems Management
  • Oversee and optimize ERP and financial reporting systems

  • Support process automation, reporting improvements, and operational system integration

  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to improve inventory, cost accounting, and financial visibility

  • Experience with Deacom ERP or similar manufacturing ERP systems strongly preferred

Team Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff

  • Help build a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented finance culture

  • Improve workflows, reporting timelines, and cross-functional communication

  • Lead with professionalism, urgency, accuracy, and adaptability

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 5–7+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls

  • Experience managing audits, tax coordination, and external financial relationships

  • Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Experience
  • CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred

  • Manufacturing, beverage, brewery, hospitality, consumer products, or distribution experience highly preferred

  • Cost accounting and inventory accounting experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Deacom, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms

  • Experience supporting multi-location operations preferred

  • Passion for craft beer, hospitality, and entrepreneurial businesses is a plus
