Summary

The Senior Analyst, Continuous Improvement & Analytics plays a critical role in advancing AgriBusiness performance by developing and deploying advanced reporting, analytics, and data solutions that support enterprise decision-making. Reporting to the Director, this role partners across Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to translate business needs into scalable data models, dashboards, and insights.

This position combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, serving as a key owner of analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) and an integrator across systems, data architecture, and business processes. The Senior Analyst is also responsible for ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability of analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Reporting & Dashboard Development
•    Design, build, and optimize enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions (primarily Power BI) that support KPIs across sales, procurement, operations, and financial performance.
•    Develop scalable, reusable data models and semantic layers to ensure consistent KPI definitions and reporting standards.
•    Lead the migration and optimization of reporting tools (Power BI, etc.) toward standardized platforms and architectures.
•    Ensure dashboards provide actionable, real-time insights aligned to business priorities (e.g., pricing, margins, inventory, procurement savings).

Analytics, Insights, and Decision Support
•    Deliver advanced analytics, including trend analysis, driver-based modeling, scenario analysis, and performance diagnostics.
•    Lead high-impact ad hoc analysis (pricing, promotion effectiveness, trade spend, supply chain, procurement spend, category performance).
•    Support CI initiatives through data-driven identification and quantification of improvement opportunities.

Data Architecture, Systems, and Technology Enablement
•    Act as a key liaison with AgriBusiness Technology Program and business systems teams to define data requirements, data models, and system integrations.
•    Ensure data integrity, governance, and alignment across multiple data sources and systems.
•    Contribute to system design, testing, and implementation of analytics and reporting platforms.
•    Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies, automation, and advanced analytics tools to improve efficiency and insight generation.
•    Utilize AI-enabled tools and approved technologies to improve productivity and analytical effectiveness.

System Ownership, Administration, and Continuous Improvement
•    Own and administer core analytics tools and reporting environments (Power BI workspaces, dataflow etc.)
•    Evaluate existing reports, tools, and data flows; recommend enhancements to improve decision speed and insight quality.

Cross-Functional Partnership
•    Partner closely with Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Demand Planning, and Operations teams to ensure analytics solutions align to business requirements.
•    Work with AgriBusiness Technology Program and Technology & Data Science teams to align analytics initiatives with broader digital strategy.
•    Collaborate with CI leaders to embed analytics into improvement initiatives and track value realization.

Typical Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or related field
Relevant Experience
  • 4–7+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or systems-related roles
Other Information
  • Advanced Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dataflows, dashboard design)
  • Strong SQL, data querying, and database knowledge
  • Experience with ERP, CRM (Salesforce), and procurement systems
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and data integration principles
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
