  • Own the international components of the quarterly and annual tax provision under ASC 740, including ETR analysis, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and foreign tax credit calculations.
  • Review and analyze financial data from foreign subsidiaries to ensure accurate tax reporting and alignment with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage the calculation and documentation of uncertain tax positions (UTPs) related to international matters.
  • Partner with accounting, FP&A, and treasury teams to ensure accurate integration of tax impacts into financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the international tax function to enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Monitor changes in global tax legislation (e.g., OECD Pillar Two, BEPS developments) and assess impact on the company.
  • Support transfer pricing initiatives, including documentation and coordination with external consultants.
  • Assist with tax audits and inquiries related to international operations.
  • Mentor and develop junior tax team members and contribute to building a high-performing tax organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in international tax, including public accounting and/or multinational corporate environment.
  • Strong expertise in U.S. international tax compliance and reporting, including hands-on experience with Forms 5471, 8858, and related filings.
  • Deep knowledge of ASC 740, specifically related to international tax provisions.
  • Experience with global tax provision software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax) preferred.
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts and global tax frameworks such as BEPS and Pillar Two.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in a Fortune 1000 or large multinational environment.
  • Proven ability to lead processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory landscape.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with strategic perspective.
