Title: Insurance Analyst - Riskonnect Implementation Support
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Portland, OR - Hybrid
Role Overview
We are seeking a Contract Insurance Analyst to support the implementation of Riskonnect, an enterprise insurance and claims management platform. This role will partner closely with the Insurance Risk Manager and project stakeholders to support data preparation, system configuration, testing, and reporting.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role well suited for a detail-oriented analyst who enjoys working with insurance data, systems, and structured processes. The role will be heavily involved in ensuring that insurance and claims information is accurate, complete, and usable within Riskonnect.
Responsibilities
Primary Focus: Riskonnect Implementation Support
  • The majority of this rolewill be dedicated to supporting the build, testing, and rollout ofRiskonnect, including:
  • Supporting data gathering,cleansing, and preparation for upload into Riskonnect (policies, claims,exposure schedules)
  • Assisting with datamigration, validation, and reconciliation against source documents andlegacy spreadsheets
  • Helping configure and test:
    • Insurance policy records andcoverage details
    • Claims intake, tracking, andlifecycle workflows
    • User roles, permissions, andbasic reporting
    • Participating in useracceptance testing (UAT) and documenting issues, defects, and enhancementrequests
  • Supporting creation of systemdocumentation, job aids, and basic training materials
  • Acting as a point ofcoordination between internal users and the Riskonnect implementation teamfor testing feedback and issue resolution
  • Success in this role meansclean, reliable insurance and claims data in Riskonnect and a smoothtransition to ongoing system use.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day insurance administrationas needed during the implementation period
  • Support claims tracking andreporting
  • Help prepare renewal data,exposure summaries, and schedules for internal and external use
  • Maintain organized records ofpolicies, claims documentation, and correspondence
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience ininsurance, risk management, finance, accounting, or a related analyticalrole
  • Familiarity with commercialinsurance concepts (property, casualty, claims)
  • Strong attention to detailand comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and structured information
  • Ability to follow definedprocesses while identifying data quality issues or inconsistencies
  • Strong organizational andcommunication skills
  • Ability to work independentlyin a contract environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Riskonnect(policy, claims, or reporting modules)
  • Experience supporting systemimplementations, upgrades, or data migrations
  • Exposure to utilities,energy, infrastructure, or regulated industries
