Job Summary:
Danbury Mission Technologies is an advanced technologies company serving the U.S. military and intelligence community. They are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to deliver complex software applications and enhance operational capabilities while working closely with a talented team.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver complex software applications into operations.
• Work closely with a talented team to enhance skills and production.
• Utilize advanced understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or 4 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (ie. Argo CD)
• Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc)
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)
• IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with fully adjudicated CI Polygraph
Preferred:
• Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
• Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar
