Now, we're launching the Safer Pathways Center, an innovative behavioral and mental health treatment facility, and we're looking for a senior-level IT Infrastructure Engineer with clinical healthcare experience to help build the secure, reliable technology foundation that will support exceptional patient care and transform lives.
This is a rare opportunity to help design and support the technology infrastructure for a startup clinical healthcare organization while partnering with one of the nation's leading nonprofit reentry organizations.
What You'll Do
As our Senior Healthcare IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll serve as the technical lead responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting the infrastructure that powers both the Safer Pathways Center and Safer Foundation.
You'll:
  • Design and maintain secure enterprise network infrastructure, servers, cloud environments, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Lead cybersecurity and HIPAA compliance initiatives, ensuring systems meet healthcare security and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and related enterprise technologies.
  • Support business continuity through disaster recovery, backups, monitoring, and infrastructure resilience.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and technology leaders to deliver innovative, secure solutions that support patient care and organizational success.
  • Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and security issues while driving continuous improvement across the technology environment.

What You Bring
We're looking for a hands-on infrastructure professional who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for solving complex challenges.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • 7+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure or systems engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting healthcare or other HIPAA-regulated environments.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, networking, firewalls, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering secure, reliable technology solutions.
