Job Description acuCyber is hiring a Senior Computer Engineer to support a classified program. The Senior Computer Engineer will lead the design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of mission-critical computing systems and supporting infrastructure. This position collaborates with systems engineers, software developers, cybersecurity personnel, network engineers, and government stakeholders to translate operational requirements into reliable, secure, and supportable technical solutions. The Senior Computer Engineer is responsible for developing system architectures, evaluating hardware and software technologies, resolving complex technical issues, and overseeing system integration and verification activities. The engineer will provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, assess system performance, manage technical risks, and mentor junior engineering personnel. The position will also ensure that computing solutions comply with program requirements, engineering standards, cybersecurity controls, configuration-management processes, and approved system baselines. All work involving classified or sensitive information must be performed in accordance with established personnel, physical, and information-security requirements. Required Skills * Master's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science
