Job description

Cloud Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:
Manage, administer, support and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of more junior employees.
You Have:
  • Experience with developing and supporting multi-cloud platform strategy for infrastructure systems
  • Experience with containerization, Cloud environments, Cloud HPC, CI/CD pipelines, and weather modeling
  • Experience with C, Python, Shell, or Bash scripting
  • Experience with developing containerization solutions for components for space-stack library suites
  • Knowledge of CI/CD infrastructure including automated cloud deployments test suites
  • Ability to interact closely with infrastructure engineers and application teams for container solutions for space-stack and UFS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
