The Senior Manager, Transformation - Connect will report to the Vice President, Services at Mayo Clinic Platform and will also work collaboratively with key leaders in Mayo Clinic Platform. 

Mayo Clinic Platform's Connect Program is a first-of-its-kind global data network that provides federated access to multi-modal and de-identified international patient data to accelerate healthcare innovation and transformation. 

The Senior Manager, Connect Program & Delivery is accountable for the successful delivery, implementation, onboarding, enablement, adoption, and long-term success of MCP's strategic, complex, and high value Connect program and its related capabilities, tools, and solutions. Serving as an executive-level post-agreement relationship owner, this role ensures customers achieve meaningful business outcomes through exceptional delivery execution, strategic partnership, and measurable value realization.

The Senior Manager, Connect Program & Delivery assumes ownership following the successful agreement process with Regional Market and Growth teams and leads the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for MCP's largest and most complex customer engagements. These engagements typically involve multiple solutions or product lines, enterprise-wide implementations, executive stakeholders, significant organizational change, cross-functional dependencies, and heightened business risk.

As a trusted strategic advisor, the Senior Manager, Connect Program & Delivery develops strong executive relationships, anticipates customer needs, influences organizational alignment, and proactively guides partners toward successful adoption and sustained program outcomes. This role balances customer objectives with MCP business priorities to maximize customer satisfaction, retention, operational excellence, and time-to-value.

Beyond customer delivery, the Senior Manager, Connect Program & Delivery serves as a leader within the Services Program & Delivery organization. The role establishes best practices, may be asked to mentor and coach Delivery Managers, leads complex initiatives across the delivery portfolio, and drives continuous improvement of MCP programs, delivery methodologies, governance, tools, and operational standards. Where assigned, the Senior Manager, Connect Program & Delivery may provide day-to-day leadership, work direction, and coaching for Delivery Managers while fostering consistency, collaboration, and excellence across the team.

Success in this role is measured by the successful execution of the organization's highest-impact customer engagements, customer satisfaction and retention, adoption and value realization, operational excellence, strategic relationship growth, financial health of the program, and the continued maturity of MCP Services' Program & Delivery organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data science, engineering, computer science, or another analytical/quantitative field to lead this program ensuring overall success, growth and operations. 

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the delivery of the Connect Program capabilities, tools, services, and solutions or any other of MCP's complex, enterprise-wide, and strategically important customer programs and implementations as assigned.
  • Own executive-level customer relationships from agreement through implementation, adoption, stabilization, and value realization in partnership with MCP's Growth and Management Team.
  • Develop comprehensive delivery strategies that align customer objectives with MCP business priorities.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for complex delivery issues, risks, and stakeholder concerns.
  • Anticipate organizational, technical, and operational challenges and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive sponsors, senior operational leaders, and key decision makers.
  • Facilitate executive governance meetings, strategic planning sessions, and business reviews in partnership with MCP's Growth and Management Team.
  • Partner with customers to define success metrics and ensure measurable business outcomes are achieved.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer value through deeper adoption, optimization, and future capabilities.

Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee delivery governance across multiple workstreams, capabilities, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure successful coordination of implementation, onboarding, enablement, training, change management, and adoption activities.
  • Monitor portfolio health, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, utilization, and operational performance.
  • Drive consistent execution of delivery methodologies, standards, and governance across complex engagements.

Organizational Leadership

  • Mentor, coach, and develop other Program and MCP Delivery Managers by sharing expertise, providing guidance, and supporting professional growth.
  • May provide day-to-day leadership, work prioritization, and performance feedback for Program & Delivery Managers as assigned.
  • Lead initiatives that improve delivery processes, methodologies, playbooks, templates, governance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Champion knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Services Program & Delivery organization.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Partner with Market & Growth, Product, Technical, Training & Education, Data, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and executive leadership, among others, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Influence organizational priorities and resource alignment for strategic customer initiatives.
  • Provide leadership with MCP program insights, delivery trends, customer intelligence, risks, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
